Counselling

 

I have been a qualified therapist for 20 years and have completed over 20,000 clinical hours. I feel that counselling is something that we probably all need at some point in our lives, it gives us a space to talk to someone who; won't judge you, won’t form opinions on what you say, someone who will try to really understand what you are going through and try to help you find the best solutions for you.

I provide a totally confidential environment that supports clients needs. I am directive and motivated to supporting you to find a way through your problems. I do not judge and offer support to a diverse client group, I also work with families, couples and groups.

My practice is integrated which means that I draw upon theories such as Person Centred, Psychodynamic and CBT; this allows my approach to adapt to fit the individual client, as I believe that each client is unique. Entering therapy can be daunting, its a brave step but once you make that first step alone I walk with you all the way on that journey of self discovery, empowering yourself to be you, to learn acceptance of yourself and others, a deeper understanding and ways to deal with life and its struggles.
